年度最佳小隊是童軍團的小隊比賽，每年各小隊均會施展渾身解數，爭奪小隊的榮譽。童軍團的活動及個人進度均有機會納入比賽項目，包括露營、遠足、烹飪、小隊競技、出席率、獎章考核等。累積分數最高的小隊即成為全年最佳小隊，其小隊名稱將會被刻在獎牌盾上。

The Patrol of the Year is an annual competition among the patrols in the Scout Troop, where each patrol gives its best effort to win the honor. Various activities and individual progress are considered in the competition, including camping, hiking, cooking, team challenges, attendance, and badge assessments. The patrol with the highest accumulated points throughout the year is named the Patrol of the Year, and their patrol name will be engraved on the trophy shield.
